096: Monetizing Your Passion Online with Sarah Argenal
Sarah Argenal came by the Ballers Circle to share her story of side hustling her way from being a working mom to going full-time with her passion online business.
Sarah grew up wanting to avoid entrepreneurship. From the experience her mother and step father had with being entrepreneurs she thought it was unstable and more risky than having a job. Over time, however, she grew to desire the time and income freedom that entrepreneurship could bring and changed her mindset of the risk associated with pursuing that lifestyle. She had expertise from being a professional coach and counselor and from her personal experience as a working mom to create a business around what she knew well and what others had asked her for help with. She started the Working Parent Resource to provide a service, which would show other parents struggling to manage all the demands of life a way to still have time to have the family experiences they desire.
What we discussed:
- How Sarah grew her audience and what she learned along the way
- How she found her target audience and niched down further to really find her tribe
- Why Sarah decided to exclusively work with clients one-on-one
- How Sarah figured out how to monetize her business
