088: Getting Corporate Sponsors to Fund Your Business with Linda Hollander
Linda Hollander joins me in the Ballers Circle to discuss how to get corporate sponsors to fund your business. If you’re a podcaster, blogger, vlogger, author, speaker or digital marketer this episode is especially for you as Linda and I go into how this less know strategy can be used for those in the internet business space.
Before becoming an entrepreneur Linda Hollander was drowning in debt, in an abusive relationship and lacked self confidence. She decided one day that she didn’t want to be in the poverty trap anymore and found an opportunity in the marketplace to start her first business with her best friend and turned that into a multi-million dollar business. After having a successful business she wanted to help other women who were in the same place she was in prior to starting her business. She started an event called the Women’s Business Expo and to fund the event she found corporate sponsors across a variety of industries. After successfully funding her event with corporate sponsorship others started asking her how she did it so they could learn how to fund their events and business. Now Linda focuses on helping people fund offline and online businesses, projects, and events through corporate sponsorship.
What we discussed:
- How to fund your internet business with corporate sponsorship
- How to get corporate sponsors without a large audience or experience
- What corporate sponsors are looking for in a sponsor partner
- Who to contact at a company to get sponsored
- How to present your offer to a sponsor
- How much money to ask a sponsor for
